Connoisseur Art Gallery is proud to present "Symphony of Landscapes", the solo exhibition of Chinese master artist, SONG Yu Min.

Born in 1940 in Hebei Province, China, SONG is one of the most important Chinese artists in Chinese ink and colour. More affectionately known as the "Poet of Colours", SONG has been hailed as revolutionizing Chinese ink and colour paintings by combining striking colours – painted layer by layer onto the canvas – with traditional Chinese ink painting technique. SONG was awarded the title of “National First Class Artist” – the highest and most prestigious honour granted by the PRC government to an artist – and his large-scale masterpieces grace the Great Hall of the People in Beijing, where governmental meetings are held. Also highly acclaimed internationally, SONG has held numerous exhibitions in China, Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan, France, Germany, Italy and the USA. He is also the only second artist who has ever held a solo show at the Beijing Art Museum in China.

This exhibition will feature a brilliant collection by SONG as he breathes life into his works and transforms the seemingly mundane rural villages and lifeless streams and mountains into a magnificent symphony of landscapes.
